I wanted to provide you with an update regarding cycle theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Dear Residents,

Please find below a brief update on reported incidents in the area between 21 April 2026 and 26 April 2026:
Theft from shop – Muswell Hill Broadway Two suspects stole multiple items valued at £388.91. One suspect has been arrested, charged, and bailed to attend court. The second suspect remains outstanding.
Theft from shop – Muswell Hill Broadway Two suspects stole skin care products from inside the store.
Theft of electric pedal cycle – Hillfield Park The victim left the bike locked at the location. An unknown suspect stole the bike between 6:00pm and 7:00pm.
Theft from shop – Fortis Green Road A youth entered the store and stole pastries, a drink, donuts, and chewing gum to the value of £10.
Assault without injury – Muswell Hill Broadway A shoplifter entered the store and began placing items into a bag, believed to be with the intention of dishonestly appropriating them. A store security officer confronted the suspect. The suspect became aggressive and smashed the goods and the security officer’s work phone on the ground, causing the victim to fear immediate unlawful violence. The suspect left the store without any items.
